From the M6 (North or South):

Leave the M6 at J6 and follow the A38(M) towards the city.

Leave the A38(M) at the 2nd slip road and turn left at the roundabout above the Expressway.

Follow the A4540 to the 4th roundabout and take the 3rd exit (Bordesley Middleway).

Turn 1st left Sampson Road North.

From the M5:

Leave the M5 at J4 and follow A38 to city. Continue to 1st roundabout and turn left.
Continue on main carrageway bypassing Northfield and on to Selly Oak.
Continue through Selly Oak passing Birmingham University on left.

After Selly Oak the road changes to a tree lined 40 mph dual carriageway which changes to single carraigeway 30mph just before large set of traffic lights. (This is a yellow box junction and Edgbaston Cricket Ground should be signed to the right.) Continue straight on towards the city past the speed camera to the next set of traffic lights.

Turn Right at these traffic lights (McDonalds on the left) onto A4540. Continue to 2nd roundabout and turn left. Continue to next roundabout and turn right (A41). Turn 1st left and 2nd left Sampson Road North.
